Ricki and Gili founded Gili’s Kitchen with a mission to provide Jacksonville’s Jewish community with flavorful, Kosher food options.

At the root of these flavorful options is Chef Gili’s training. His culinary training began more than 20 years ago at Tadmor, the most prestigious cooking school in Israel. After he graduated, Chef Gili would work with the most prestigious catering companies in the country, companies like Food Art in Tel Aviv and Doron Baron in the North of Israel.

In 2005 he helped found the catering company Eat Events. With his partner, he would grow the company to be a national presence in catering, serving more than 4,000 events from 10 to 3,000 attendees. During this time, Chef Gili traveled the world, bringing unique flavors back to his home country to create Kosher items never before seen.

He would later go on to collaborate with legendary Israeli chefs including Chef Johnathan Roshfeld (judge for Master Chef Israel), Ran Shmoeli, and many more.

Chef Gili emigrated to Jacksonville at the request of co-founder Ricki. He oversees the menu for Gili’s Kitchen. Today, Gili’s Kitchen is the go-to Kosher restaurant for travelers from all over, with many customers likening it’s international flavor mix to restaurants in New York and Palm Beach.
